Amazon Wondery’s History Tellers More To The Story

PROBLEM:
Wondery, Amazon’s Podcast Publishing Brand, has never invested in an upper and lower funnel marketing campaign, ever.
How do we showcase Wondery’s History genre of podcasts to a younger, more diverse audience, while not ostracizing their older, majority white audience?

SOLUTION:
Create a campaign that all history buffs would be curious to explore—leaning into the invisible thread of facts to uncover…
that, there’s always More to the Story.

This was a first for the Wondery brand—airing on broadcast and Prime.

As our social campaign extension, we revealed even More To The Story as animated IG Stories,
along with paid media banners and page takeovers across History-related publications.

Each iconic figure in history was aligned to a Wondery History podcast and episode.
